Sheryl Millstein
The Reference Division is pleased to welcome Ms. Millstein as an adjunct librarian working Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons at the Information Desk in the Cohen Library. She holds an MLS from the School of Communication Information and Library Science at Rutgers University where she concentrated, appropriately enough, in reference services. She received her MSW from Yeshiva University following her graduation from Queens College.

Sydney Van Nort
Ms. Van Nort is helping to fill the gap in Archives created by Professor Barbara Dunlap's retirement. Working 12 hours weekly—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday—she fields reference questions and acquires and accessions materials for the library's Archives and Special Collections Division.

After receiving her BA from Vassar where she majored in medieval studies, Ms. Van Nort obtained an MLS from Columbia University with a specialization in archival management and organization. She has worked in a number of libraries including those at the New-York Historical Society and Rockland Community College. Currently, in addition to her work as a library adjunct, she works on a cross-national studies program at Columbia's School of Social Work.

If you need to consult archival material on City College instruction, teaching, research, student life, buildings, or alumni, call Ms. Van Nort at 650-7609 or email her at ccacc@cunyvm.cuny.edu.

For more information on the division, or to view a sampler of CCNY historical photos, see its site at www.ccny.cuny.edu/library/Divisions/Archives/index.html.
